90% of the population was gay; 10% was straight, how different do you think the world would be? Would straight people be looked down upon? Would there be less wars, or would the world be the same? What do you think? People are people, right?

People are indeed People, my Child. That's why we should be treating each Other as if we were treating Ourselves. Then there would be less War and less Hate.
It wouldn't matter if people were Gay, Straight, Bi or Otherwise. We would just be People.

Depends, some gay people can be just as scary as some straight people. In a way, I'd rather be around women than some gay guys, at least women only have a period that lasts 3 days. Some gay guys that I know seem to have a period that lasts all *but* 3 days (and this is coming from a gay man). LoL As for population, I'm sure something would be done, like gay guys reproducing with their lesbian best friend or something...

I've often thought of that. Ever since it was on Ellen, really.
Gays are often more accepting of straight people than the other way around, because gay people (and I mean this as a generalization, so lesbians/bisexuals etc as well) are a minority in this society. If we weren't, most of us (being only human after all) would be like most straight people now. Many will be ok with it, but some would be straight-o-phobes...

It's so funny to hear people instantly assume there would be fewer babies born ... being gay doesn't make you sterile... there would be fewer UNWANTED babies born... and that would be a good thing... I would actually say that human nature would probably make things the same... in other words... any group who deviates from the 90% would get looked down upon... the masses historically have chastised the few... it makes them feel better... sad huh....

Well, we'd dress better!! lol There would still be wars. A lot less hate crimes I think. But who's to say? Without years of belittlement and opression, would we still be the same people? Would we let the power of majority go to our heads? I wonder? Good question!!!! :@)

The straights would have to pump out kids something furious to keep the population up.

I think... I'd get laid more often. And everyone would be better dressed.

I see no downside. :)

EDIT: Oh mate you're celibate? You should totally come over to my place. I love a challenge. I'll even bet you £5 I can make you see God. :P

A LOT less of people. Then again it depends, what happened to being bisexual...?

well one huge difference i think is that there would be a LOT less people, so inevitably a LOT less wars, conflict, but also a severe loss of culture. gotta have more straight people for the mere convenience of reproduction!
