Well if you see a muslim women or someone walking down the street, do u think differently about them! im a Muslim and i hate it when i watch TV and see everyone saying....omg Islam is a teorrist religion and blame everything on Muslims! its not fair cuz not all of them all bad! I love my reliogion so much and i hate it when people make bad comments about it!
A boy in my sisters class said to her" omg ur a muslim and ur going to blow up our school cuz ur a terroist! and hes like " do u know the picture on ur flag is a Bomb! i got so mad when i heard this! i cant believe my sister has to hear bad comments about our religion!

NO, I certainly do not!! There are good and evil people in every faith.
Sadly, the extremest Muslims who preach hate, bomb and murder have tainted the opinion of many.

I dont think all muslims are bad, in fact I'm pretty sure only a minority are bad. The majority are well meaning God fearing people. Unfortunately too any muslims interpret the teachings of islam in a very strict and unfriendly way - none of which is in the Koran, but other man written outdated booklets.
In the west we dont like Sharia Law, we dont like women treated as scond class citizens and we believe that all people should be free to purse the religuion of their choice, whereas most muslims believe everyone should be muslim.
Despite the Koran asking Muslims to be open heartd to Christians and Jews as we all believe in the same God, I could not find one Muslim who would openly condemn the terrorists for killing westerners in the bomb attacks even amongst friends. At best we recived a dignified silence.
Its difficult to openly trust a people when you know they want you dead!
Also if you see an asian wearing a rucksack its impossible to tell the difference between a harmeless traveller and a suicide bomber so all tend to be eyed askance - its called self preservation.
And God only knows what those black robes with veils hide.
More Suicide bombers? Islam does not call for that level of coverage from anyone.

What I think when I see a muslim walking down the street is; "here's someone who won't judge people, like certain other religious people..." - the grief I've had from christians because I'm pagan, you won't believe it! But at least the muslims that I know have an open mind.
It might be because they understand that it's not evident for someone with another religion to end up in a 90% catholic country...

The Muslim person ( and Christian and Jew) is a victim of Faith, but the actual person is OK in my view. I think the problem is with all Religious Faith - now that is bad !
With the incident in your sisters class, a little bit of Education would help - just say something like ... well you guys had the Crusades , now its our turn ! Just try and laugh off their ignorance .
Things are only going to get worse until we can make religious faith socially unacceptable - like smoking and racism.

Not all Muslims are bad at all, some are actually pretty cool.
However, I find that the more religious a Muslim is, the more dangerous they become. The same applies to Christians and all other religious people.

I know it is a small % that are terrorist but few of the rest say they are wrong and are against them. Probably out of fear but it becomes hard to be open minded when all seem to support terrorism. Peace

I too hate it when people talk bad about muslims.
What about the crazy Christians who bomb abortion clinics? Just because there religion is more widespread people don't care.
Most muslims are great people.
