I believe Jesus is the way, the truth and in our lives there is one winner and many losers, its almost like a race, but God(Father, Son, Holy Spirit) had his people already at the finish line waiting for the prize(Mansions in Heaven), while the other beliefs are still trying to find who God is.

I don't. I don't understand how one God out of thousands can be the one and only true God, and have only "one" way to get people to go to him.

I will not totally agree with your first part of your statement but easily disagree on the second.
Paul said to run the race as to win the prize. The race doesn't end when we accept Jesus. If Christian's goals are heaven, then they are not living the way Christ intended. Our relationship with God starts here on earth, not in heaven.
If there is only one winner, who wins? Are the rest of us Christians losers. The difference is how we finish the race.

For those who endure to the end shall be saved.

i believe that although jesus may be "the way" that there are other ways into heaven, that may be harder. I don't think God would hold someone accountable for not being a christian when they die, b/c they were born into another religion in another part of the world. also not all christians go to heaven. There are many people who believed in Jesus and did horrible things and were bad people, that i'm sure don't make it to heaven and in the same regards many non christians who were good and loving (i.e. Ghandi). There must be other alternatives then than just hevan or hell b/c a God who would send Ghandi to hell and some murderer to heaven isn't a God worth worshiping.

Jesus is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. No one can know the Father, except through the Son.

Which is the way it is and should be.

We were given free will the day man was born, we choose our own path through our own beliefs. There is no "only way", when it comes to what good or bad. By saying christ is the "only way", you are saying that people who believe in Buddhism, Judaism, Mazdakism, Confucianism, Wicca ect; are going to live a life of sin and go to hell. Part of being of christian is understand the fact that no matter how strong you believe in your religion, there is no "only way". There is love, goodness, and happiness.

I believe that Jesus is the Way, but I do not see my faith as a race towards the American dream.

I DO...and I think the point of getting to hang in heaven with God is cool n all, but I don't choose Jesus because of that, I choose Him because...man He's just AWESOME.
