I am 21 my gf is 21, and we only have intercourse about 2-3 times a week, and she says we do it a lot. I feel that we dont do it that much. so what is the average?

There really is no right answer to this or a 'normal" amount.
It really depends on the people, their schedules, sex drive, time limitations and so on.
I can tell you, it is much more common for men to want sex all of the time than it is for a lot of women, but 2-3 times per week seems pretty average to me. Not many people have time to do it every day.
Try making it more romantic instead of like a score card. You don't want her to start feeling like it is something she has to do vs. something she wants to do.

It depends on the individuals' sex drives. For some, 2-3 times a week is plenty. For others, they want it daily. Others want it a couple of times a day. There is no right or wrong "amount" unless someone is unhappy with it.

There is no set amount other than what you two are comfortable with. Now I have to ask: Since 2-3 times a week isn't enough for you, is she your whore or your girlfriend? She's not there to service you every minute of the day.
There are plenty of other things you can do that don't involve getting naked.

You should really do things beside *that* Sex can mask a relationship thats not so great as great, because the sex is so wonderful. Once 6 months passes and you have done about everything you can with each other, real things come up, and breakups happen or the relationship moves forward.
If you really just met this person...be "safe"

Honestly when i have a new relationship i probably average around five or six times a week depending on the amount of time spent together

Every day somtimes 2 to 3. Shes getting it somewhere else thats why she says its alot.
