I am here in Hawaii on a tourist visa and am not able to get regular insurance like a citizen. Does anyone have any suggestions?

There are plans for foreign nationals visiting the U.S. or any other country. Several companies will write these plans and they can be in effect for up to two years. Call a local independent agent to help you or visit this website: https://www.imglobal.com/travelinsurance/index.cfm?imgac=236164

If you have an emergency you can go to the emergency room and they have to treat the emergency even if you can't pay. They will send you the bill. If it isn't an emergency you can go to any doctor and they will accept cash. Maybe your insurance from your country will cover you while in our country.

In the US, you have to pay for your healthcare. If you're here on a tourist visa, you have to pay CASH for your healthcare. Or you can go home, and use whatever system you normally use for healthcare.
