God's main objective is to spread the word of His Gospel of Christ to every kindred tongue and nation. And then Christ will come to teach THE WORD with a rod of iron. That is the main reason we proselytize. But just like you I think that over proselytization serves only to drive some people away. God has said that believers are just to plant a seed. And if that seed grows it is because God has chosen that time to make that seed grow. Not because of our constant Preaching. God will decide when the time is right , not us.

Well, that depends on what you mean by over-proselytize. Can a parent tell his child he loves him too many times? I don't believe so. Christians, most of them anyway, are telling the nonbelievers they love them by getting the word out to them through various means. (Those means may be up to debate, but the idea of giving the word out is not. God has continuously commanded in His Word to preach to the unbelievers about Jesus Christ crucified and raised on the third day.) That commandment is to all believers. We must continue to try to open the eyes of unbelievers as many times as possible and never give up. The message we are sharing is more important than any other message. Below I have some scriptures documenting the requirement of preaching to our fellow brothers and sisters who do not believe the Gospel of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. God bless you and keep the peace.

it rather is the Evangelicals that's a lot greater aggressive whilst it is composed of proselytizing. They push their faith not in basic terms on us, yet on honestly everyone else. i come across the proselytizers to be rather annoying. As for eastern Orthodox, I even have by no capacity seen them proselytizing honestly everyone. in fact, I even have observed that Armenians (who're overwhelmingly Orthodox) proportion slightly bit a kinship with Jews, with the aid of fact they have additionally suffered from a holocaust (Theirs develop into on the arms of the Turks, throughout the time of and presently after international war I)

Some folks are just so excited about what they have discovered, that they may be over the top. The most difficult ministry is that of a seed planter. Rarely do you get to lead someone to the Lord, but have the great task of planting that beautiful seed of faith. But look out when you get to Heaven, there will lots of folks waiting for you to thank you for what you did!

That's what I do. I know that the Lord changes the heart, not me. I understand why people do it though. Out of frustration and desparation knowing that someone may never find eternal life. It's a helpless feeling, but we can't beat our heads on the wall. There are plenty of people who want to hear the good news.

Where is your proof. I have told some I am not interested and they leave me alone. All many need is a polite no thank you. If they continued I would say, ' which part of NO didn't you understand.' Peace
