InshaAllah Islam is the Truth. The Holy Quran is the TRUE, UNCHANGED UNEDITED word of God. Unlike the Bible and Torah, it has NEVER been changed. The Arabic in which it was revealed remained the same from day one. Islam teaches us to believe in the One true God. God is whole and complete, not 3 in 1 as the Trinity teaches.That doesn't make sense. I don;t think Christianity is a monotheist religion anymore.

There was an Egyptian king who wanted to see which religion was true, Christianity, Judaism, Islam.
He called a Priest, a Rabbi and an Imam, to see which one would present the best argument.
The Christan priest was told to go first, he said no the Jews were here first so the Rabbi should go first. They argued then agreed for the Imam to go first.
The Imam was asked to present his case, he said, “If the Jews are right then the Muslims and Christians are okay because believe in Moses. If the Christians are right then the Jews have a problem and the Muslims are okay because we believe in Jesus. But if the Muslims are right then the Jews and Christans have a problem because they don’t believe in Muhammad.” (peace and blessings of God be upon him).

You do ask some aukward questions.
If it is a staight case of which is the nearest to the origional jewish religion, then islam wins hands down.
If it is a case of which is nearest to the old pagan religions of Europe then christianity wins hands down.
Reasons. for the first statement.
Islam contains most of the laws and customs of the old jewish religion.
Christianity while having the old stories don`t keep the laws or follow the customs.
Reasons for the second statement.
The images used by the christians are all of pagan origin
The laws of diet don`t follow the jewish customs
Even the ceremonial dress of the clergy is of pagan origin
Celebacy is for the pagan priests jewish priest were married
Nuns replaced the virgins of Vesta
They have psudo cannabalistic rituals which would never be tolerated by the jews, and are in conflict with jewish law.
The round (corn bread) used in that ritual is the Isis wafer straight from sun worship
The christians have expanded god to include Jesus. This is in direct violation of the jewish first commandment.

I understand that Christianity was on this earth before Islam appeared. Also Christianity via the Old Testament reflects back until men/women first arrived.
Islam has some good points, they know how to curb criminality and how to curb unnatural practices: but on the downside they do not accept that there should be any other religion in the universe and in some countries go to great depths to suppress other religions.

was their a point in asking this? Muslims will say that Islam is the truth, Christians will say Christianity is the truth and people who don't know whats good for them will say neither.

I do believe and have faith that Christianity holds the truth. I am a Christian, and have been one for 3 years. I do believe and have faith that Jesus Christ is the Son of the living God.
To stewpot: You just cannot be a part time Christian. It is like if you have a part time job, it won't support you.

I am christian,
Both religions believe in worshipping God, they worship the SAME God, some of the virtues they teach are the same, both have prophets except Christianity has Jesus and Islam has Mohammad i personally believe in Jesus, but then i do not know much about Mohammad, but my faith is set very much is Christianity because well it is what i believe in.

it doesn't matter if they are true. i am a christian but im not one what goes to church every sunday but i do go sometimes. it inner-peace and the story which do this. both of them are a way of living which people follow. and to all the people who said no! keep a open mind, you never know whats to happen in the after life!
