Revelation 16 reveals God’s judgments on the earth in the 2nd half of the tribulation. This period is known as the Great Tribulation. With these judgments, the wrath of God is complete. At the close of the 7-Bowl judgments, Christ returns with the armies of Heaven to establish the Millennial Kingdom. (Rev. 20;1-7)

No.

It is consistent with the kind of thinking from 2000 years ago that did not understand causes and effects, but instead attributed everything that happened to a deity. For people to think that way in primitive times is understandable.

What is the use of pretending today, after hundreds of years of science, that we don't know what causes the weather ? Global warming ? Air pollution ? Diseases ? Wars ? Environmental degradation ? Birth defects ? Tsunamis ?

I could go on but the point doesn't need it.

There is a difference between reading the Bible and reading a newspaper. People who do not understand the difference are waiting for the End Times, worried that they might be Left Behind.

No, I don't think that oil spills indicate we're in the end times. Oil tankers have been spilling and ruining the environment since oil tankers were invented.

But don't people like you usually think the Christians would be raptured away before the tribulation? Why would the born-agains still be here?

No horrible stuff has been happening since the existence of man. And people look at this bible gibberish and think the prophecy is coming true. Yes the world will end someday but thats not a prediction thats just a truth. Quit worrying about this junk live your life and be happy.

What I find most reassuring about revelation is that the meek shall inherit the earth and the Christians, et al. will go onto the afterlife.

As an atheist, I really can't wait to take the earth back and live in peace.

The sooner the better.

we aren't experiencing this because we aren't in the tribulation yet.although it is getting very close, we do not know when it is going to start because we don't know when the rapture will happen and this has to happen before the tribulation can start.
