I would not phone them again to inquire about the positions. Instead, I would wait another week and then go to the banks and ask to speak with each manager about the position. Tell them that you are very interested in the positions and that you are hoping they are not yet filled. Be courteous and thank them for their time.

A phone call would be too impersonal and might seem as if you are not making the effort that a personal visit takes. I'd only do this ONCE. If, after a visit, you don't hear from them - the position was filled by someone else.

Best of luck to you........I hope you get a great job.

A thank-you for a job interview should always be hand-written on good quality professional stationery. Emailed thank-yous is a no-no.

Join a municipal group and just make yourself available. Be willing to take on projects and then do a good job with them, and practice your group and team skills while doing this. They will get to know you for yourself and your good personal qualities, and connections will naturally develop. Be patient, a network takes some time to build.

Ya know what sweetie, I think what you've done is sufficient. It showed professionalism on your part. I don't think you need to do any more as you've already sent thank you's in your e-mails. They will remember you for that. When you find the position you're looking for and if you find out that you will be needing their services they'll remember you and if you are dealing with them quite a bit, I'd say a lunch date wouldn't be out of the question. Best to you.

I think the best thing at this point is to wait and see if you get a job offer. If not, ask them if they would be willing to meet with you to discuss things you could have done differently in the interview and any skills, experience, or education you may have lacked. Ask them to keep you in mind if they hear of anything they think you might be qualified for.

Wow. First, I ought to assert there is significant irony in the undeniable fact that your boss suggested this with you and needs you to maintain "want". That makes it slightly greater difficult to be expert approximately it! Why might she go with to tug it into the place of work? And once you assert it comes up often at artwork, who's bringing it up? The boss? if so, your theory of strolling away is a physically powerful one yet provided that it produces consequences. in any different case, in the adventure that your boss is the single bringing this up, you are able to ought to tell her that it is not acceptable place of work communication. And it rather is not, tremendously under those situations. i might tell her "i'm particular you already know this makes me uncomfortable, so please do not convey it up at artwork". She could be your boss, yet she's crossing a place of work ethics line with this, and if she would not be attentive to that, she ought to.
