just ignore the atheists, they have alot of hate for the people of God, they are angry, because as hard as they try to seek God they cant so they become very angry and hate even more.

Why are you so obsessed with atheists?
Why go as far as posting here, without doing any research or reading any of those books?
It seems like you are desperate to convince yourself that your deity exists, but deep down you know that it is as real as Santa and the tooth fairy. The universe will continue on, without any god, whatever you believe. Faith, in fact, can not move a mountain.

By reading the Bible, doing research into it's 'truth' and then saying, I still don't believe it, that's equates to deep down we know there is a god? What a ridiculous rant. If anybody doubts there is no god it's believers. The fact that believers desperately try to rewrite/reinterpret the Bible shows that the Bible does not stand up to scrutiny and you know it. So I think that it's you that is having to try to convince yourself, that that rubbish is true and not a fairytale not atheists!

As all seekers of Truth, the study of various religious beliefs interests me. However it is a purely intellectual pursuit (a look into the whys and the wherefores), because all else is simply a matter of Faith in that one cannot prove nor disprove the existence of God.

I'm not obsessed with it. I'm deeply concerned by it.
Just like some people are deeply concerned about global warming, or animal rights, or breast cancer.
Religion is a social disease, and is responsible for a tremendous death toll in every corner of the world.
I'm tired of that. I want people to live in peace, and enlightenment. And religion seems to be the antithesis to that.
So no, I'm not trying to convince myself of anything. I know that's what you'd like to believe, of course. Trust me... I know a LOT about what you'd like to believe. Most atheists used to be just like you. You'll find that you are seriously outgunned philosophically by most atheists, as you have NO experience with their "beliefs". They have extensive experience with yours.
I know I do.

Oh, yes, why research the major cultural forces in our world? Why, on earth would anyone find that to be important?
[insert sarcasm here]
As an American I am forced to live with Christianity every day of my life. It is very important to have knowledge of the society in which we live. If we find that society to be lacking, we should work to increase knowledge and dispel the ignorance that is contributing to that sub par society. It is our responsibility to work to better our world.

I feel that it is irrational, dangerous and immature to believe in a god. You are accepting something blindly...you are putting all your faith in a being you can't prove exists. You don't take responsibility for your own actions, you accept everything as "God's Plan"

IDK. Why is anyone interested in anything?
I do believe people write books to help spread info. After all, humans are social creatures. Same with movies but also, who doesn't want to pick up on a subject that draws interest? (IE-make more money)

We are fascinated that so many people actually believe in that stuff, so naturally we're curious. I'm pretty sure I'm not wrong, but you go ahead think what you want.
What if deep down inside you know you're wrong?

What exactly leads to think that deep down we're wrong?
How about this....what if there are many gods and not just one....can you prove that with faith?
