And let's assume hypothetically that everybody on R&S lives within a 50 mile radius of the meetup place.

"As long as it was in a bar."
bar+religious differences+typical R&S stupidity
=bar brawl.
Can we get Ronald H. McChrist in here for an "I'm lovin' it?"

Hahaha...I'm not suggesting one. I'm interested in who would actually go, who wouldn't and their reasons. :)

Only if you were there. lol. But you're probably not in my area. Drizzt, wannabe a princess, and going postal would have to be there too....that's cali, maryland and OK. Hm...I'm SC, so it ain't looking good, lol.
EDIT:
I didn't see the fifty mile thing, so if all those people were there, hells yes!

I don't know. I would like to meet some of the folks here, but I am not a fan of big gatherings only because it's hard to connect with people that way, especially in a bar with the music and smoke and all that stuff. Crap, I'm getting old if I'm bitching about stuff like that. Hell yeah, I would go!
Will there be child care? LOL

Why bother? It seems both sides want to be know-it-alls and Christians are not to debate anyone about their beliefs. Romans 1:29-32, Romans Chapter 2: 1-5, Psalm 2, Colossians 2:8. True Science is another issue and does compliment the Bible belief system.

i would go but quietly observe the unfolding of events from the outer perimeter and then decided whether or not to take part.
i've been to many spontaneous gatherings people had for various clubs etc., and the cool people that say they will go never did.

Probably not. There are people who post here I'd be interested in meeting. There are others I'd go a long way to avoid. The second category wins.

Sure but I'd have to supply the beer. I'm a beer snob and couldn't tolerate a party with crappy beer.

Of course I would go. I wave at some very popular (so to speak) R&Sers as I drive by their respective cities every now and again.
