I'm 18 and a sophomore in college...and I kinda get the feeling that this guy I know likes me, but he's like 25...is that too old for me? He's a really nice guy, and I think that he would be a good boyfriend if it ever worked out, but the age difference kind of makes me feel weird about it...

He works at my college...we're both involved with the campus ministry and praise and worship teams, so I see him a few times a week. I don't know if I'm looking for a serious relationship right now, but I'd be happy to have someone to hang out with...
I am mature for my age...lots of people have told me that. I think we are close to the same level of maturity.

As long as you can relate on different levels then dating someone older than you is perfectly OK. The thing to keep in mind is 18 year old are generally in a different place than 25 year old. My grandma is 8 years younger than my grandpa. They were married for like 55 years.

Well the age gap doesn't sound too big. So, if you think he's who you want or like, then things will work out. My bf and I have a 6 year age gap. He's 26 and I'm 20. I felt weird dating an older guy because I have always preferred someone older, but near my age. I am getting used to his age because we do think on the same level. The good thing about older guys is that they're dependable and you can always look up to them for help.

It's not terrible. You're in two different situations right now. You're in college and he's probably in a career. Do you think you'd get along with his friends? Think he'd like hanging out with college students??
Take this one slow. Go on a few dates and see where it leads. If you're compatible enough......you'll make it work.

Actually that's a good age spread, but don't let your college suffer because of this. Make sure you get your education ,even if it all works out, you will need this in order to get a good job, especiallyif it doesn't work out.

dont think about age when you know the "relashionhsip" is going steady. if you STILL dont have a relashioship worked out, and you both know that the other one loves you, then go ahead and make one.. STOP THINKING ABOUT AGE, i know a guy who is dating someone 13 years younger than him..its love waht counts

I would proceed with caution and watch out for anything weird. If you feel weird about it then you have to ask yourself why is he giving you this type of vibe.

age is only a number, it really just depends on each of your characteristics and maturity.

No, it's fine. But I would take things slow and not limit yourself to one person just yet.
