If we ever have World War III, there won't be a winner.

The entire planet will be nuked to a smoking, radioactive ember.

The victor of any war is one who will have counted the cost wisely and accurately. They will have decided there is enough money, there are enough resources, and there are enough people who will survive to make the fight worth it.

Personally, I think in war there is no true winner. The human cost is always too great. The race/country/group you count as your enemy is made up of individuals, most of whom would rather live peacefully than die at the hands of an anonymous stranger.

What makes you think Britain will go to war with the United States? We have about the strongest alliance in the world and have for atleast the past 100 years.

No one would win if it were a nuclear war. There would be nothing and no-one left to claim victory over.

Having served with and next to British troops I can tell you there would be no fight between us. We might jab and get drunk but that's about as far as it would get. American and British troops have been doing that for years.
