I have found the weather to be best in March & April. Earlier than that can be chilly, the summer is very hot & humid, and in the fall you have to deal with hurricane season.

Right now the weather is very mild in New Orleans. Highs in the 70s, lows around 50-60. A cool front may push nightly lows down 10 or 15 degrees. Agree with Barry. November thru March/April is much less humid and more pleasant in general. Summers and even early fall can be brutal with the heat and humidity. New Orleans has a wide variety of tours.

I went just this past October 26-29 and it was fantastic weather. Blue skies, mid-70's during the day and around 60 at night. There are many tour groups but I recommend Haunted History Tours. Try to hook up with Andrew for the night tours..he is great.

New Orleans is nice in March and April and Nov. The worst time is May-Sept. If you don't mind it a little warm-just skip those worst summer months.

New Orleans is hot and humid most of the time. I dont think there is a time when the weather is beautiful. About a month ago it was raining and the streets flooded like crazy. It was humid then too.
