I just got done planning my daughters high school musical party so heres what I did, i bought a kareoke machine and bought a HSM kareoke cd for it and that was a big hit, we also played a twister game for HSM also if you cant find one, i read online that printing out the HSM stars faces and pasting them onto the twister wheel and tarp work great too, (then the kids can pick which star will be which color and such) also, i bought this HSM magic 8 ball and suprisingly that was one of their favorite games!! Exept with that one i would just place the magic 8 ball somewhere and let them figure it out themselves because imagine your mom coming in and saying " Its time to play with a magic 8 ball yay!!" It will seem kinda dorky. Also, if your granddaughter has a nintendo ds, the game is a great birthday present for them to play with at the party. If she doesn't another great thing to do is to ( duh) watch all the HSM videos!!!! Another great thing that my girls did was try to make their own HSM 3!!! They loved thinking up all the future conflicts and what Sharpay would do next to try to steal Troy away from Gabriella! It was probably the most talkative part of the party. They also tried to act out HSM 3 too, they picked each others roles and made their own high school musical! ( there were even some made up roles if there are to many people.) So good luck with your party I'm sure it'll be a great one!!

What a great grandma you are. We just had an HSM bday party for my daughter. We played the DVD game. There are 6 characters, and we doubled up on teams and the kids had a ball. We also played karakoe with the HSM karakoe cd, pin the sequins on Sharpay, and sharades (i made up the questions) with clues from HSM and HSM 2. There is a new twister game out, but it is hard to find and also HSM Uno too.
Good luck, and get ready for some giggly little girls, we had a ball.
Oh we also did Sharpay style makeovers, lots of sparkly nails and hair.

They have a new Twister game out based on the movie. I am planning on buying that for my 10 year-old niece for Christmas this year.

The lyrics game is a really good idea (previously mentioned), I would also add in a few games that are not center around the movie, just in case some kids haven't seen it.
