Brook . . . I understand what you are talking about . . .
You are looking to someone who is
1) Mentally Stable
2) Financially Stable
3) Someone who could take care of you
Guys, your age . . . don't know what they want in life. They go from one thing to another, and is not exactly stable. You are afraid they may cheat and go off with someone else and you are afraid to get hurt.
Plus these younger guys are mainly after one thing . . . sex. They could be selling you a ball of yarn, tell you that they are successful, yet they barely make $20k/yr. They buy fancy cars and have the latest equipment, yet they are in hawk to their ears. You want someone, who is set in a career . . . and know how to handle their finances.
I want you to create a pros and cons list . . . what you like about younger guys and what you like about older guys . . .
Is the reason why you like older guys, is because you want them to take care of you . . . or someone to share their lives with you and you have an equal input into the relationship.

You should ask yourself "why" you are attracted to older men. I'm in no position to judge, but that much of an age difference seems to suggest you are looking for a father figure. I could be way off, but so long as you're comfortable with the "Why" that's all that matters. People will judge you, but you are the one that needs to feel comfortable with your reasoning. Best of luck and hope this helps!

dating someone old enough to be ur dad is just wrong! Age is just a number but it depends what the number is!
at the end of the day - as long as your happy - does it really matter what anyone else thinks??

I completely disagree. I frankly get sick of hearing this.
You have to think long term, when you are 50 the guy will be 70 or 80 or dead. Common get realistic. There are fewer guys out there who are mature your age but they are out there.

I think if you love them or even like them. You should think about what makes you happy not what any one elase thinks. Plus you know what they say the older the berry the sweeter the juice.
