you should go to a hair salon and talk with the professional stylists, and maybe consider getting it chemically straightened, or getting some of it cut off. best of luck

FIRST!!! Don't fret.
2.. Do NOT brush your hair when it is wet. It stretches just sooooooooooooooooooo far, then it POPS off. There's your frizzie.
3. Do NOT scrub your hair dry. If you use your towel too roughly on your hair, ther's a frizzie.
4. DO!! start at the bottom with a BIG-TOOTH comb , and comb from the bottom--get those tangles first, then take another layer and comb, EASILY!!!
If you come to a tangle---DON'T tear it out. COMB EASILY until it comes out.
5. DO get a 'spray-in leave-in conditioner that you can spray on wet or dry hair.
6. If you do what I say, you are on your way to better, shinier, more manageable (which means less frizzies or tangles) hair.
7. DO!!!!! get about two to three inches trimmed off---NO IT WON"T KILL YOU!!!!---it will grow back!!!
There are sooo many professional products that last longer, because they are so concentrated--a dab will do.
There are so many store products that will COAT your hair and make you think you have it made-----but they are oily on the day you USE THEM--yuk.
You should NOT use much of ANY PRUCT, anyway.
People seem to think that the more you use, the better. BIG LIE!!!

I also have very curly frizzy hair. First of all, I've never worn it long because it is so uncontrollable. I don't know what I would do with long hair. I've worn it really super short, but now it is right below my ears.
I get really good (expensive) haircuts and that has helped a lot! Every stylist I've ever gone to has told me to NEVER go without layers. If you try to have really curly frizzy hair all one length you have a hair explosion! So I've always had good luck with layered haircuts.
Also, I never never NEVER completely dry my hair with a blow dryer. Always let it at least partially air dry. The dryer it gets with a blow dryer the more you end up with a big huge puffball. I just use a blow dryer long enough to give my hair a little height and get it going in the direction that I want it to go - then I STOP!!!
And never never NEVER use a comb or a brush on your hair. Just finger comb it. The less you touch and fuss with your hair the smoother and shinier and less frizzy it will be.
Another good tip is to use good hair products. There are all kinds of serums and goos for frizzy hair. I use Garnier Fructisse (sp?) and John Frieda Frizz-Ease. I mix it up, using different products each day - sometimes a mousse, sometimes a gel, sometimes a serum - but I always use a leave-in conditioner. Garnier Fructisse has a good one. I think that it's good to not use the same products every day to avoid a build-up.
Have you tried a flat iron? I occasionally straighten my hair with a flat iron, but I'm 51 and it just seems like too much trouble! And my husband likes my hair curly. But I do like to straighten sometimes for a change. A good flat iron can straighten out even the curliest, frizziest hair. My 19-year-old daughter does not have hair as curly or frizzy as mine, but it is wavy and she flat irons it every day!
So, good luck! It took me almost 50 years to learn how to live with and sometimes love my curly hair - hope you can get there sooner!

Wooo. Take a breather. Lol, alright, there are a lot of products out there that tame frizzyness. Maybe, first off, get a haircut that can help you maintain your hair because when hair is really long and frizzy, it will make you mad. I use Dove Cool Moistures and it's great- it keeps my hair really silky. I also use Frizz Control by Herbal Essences, which is awesome too. Garnier makes this serum stuff that you can rub through your hair to reduce frizz. I use a little each day and it smells great & works really well. Good luck :)

Get a small perm or something to controll your hair. You could even hot comb it. You are lucky your hair is long. I have short hair with the same problems you have. Good Luck

Go to a hair saloon and talk to the hair specialist. He/she might know how to handle your hair.
Or try to use Olive Oil (not the one ppl use for cooking!) after shower (dry your hair first). Olive oil is said to be effective in smoothen out frizzy hair.
Be careful when shopping for a product for your hair. Don't just use any products in the market coz it might further damage your hair.

Get a really nice looking wig, then shave off your hair. When you get to be 18 or so and are able to read and graduate from 8th grade, you could log on to a web site (at the library) and type in "conditioners", or ask someone else to help you type. Best of luck, Audrey.

Talk with a hair stylist. She or he would recommend something that would really help your situation. My bff's hair is just like that. So now she always blow dries it straight and then straightens it. But before she straightens it she puts this stuff in her hair so when she straightens it, it won't damage her hair.

Straightners and anti frizz products? I used to have quite frizzy hair, but not as bad as your making yours out to be. So try straightening and anti frizz i guess. Have you tried anti frizz shampoos & conditioners?
I think the best idea would be to cut it and see how it grows back
