Just want to know if you dream of marrying a doctor -> and if a D.O. student is compatible with the idea of your dream man, or if he is a close second, or maybe you don't want to marry a doctor.

A simple answer will suffice.

Though I am not a doctor, allow me to offer a simple answer.

It is true that your BRAIN is above your HEART but when you are strucked with TRUE LOVE, it is not easy to let your brain to take all control.

Both doctor's married have pros and cons but if there is real love, I would not hesitate to marry a doctor (assuming I am a doctor).

All adjustments and arrangement won't be difficult as long as common understanding and love prevail.

I'm in intern (guy) and my wife is a probation officer.

I don't know if it was her "dream" to marry a doctor, but she had plenty of time to get out of it if she didn't, hehe.

I'm glad that I didn't marry a doctor. I don't know how on earth I'd stay sane and even find time for each other.

I chose not to marry a doctor. He doesn't practice medicine, and I don't mess with computers (much). I certainly don't do surgery on them like he does!

I like the balance our family has. He has introduced me to many things that I'd never have found (like podcasting) and I can take care of anything medical (he gets woozy around hospitals).

I know quite a few doctor-doctor couples, and they seem to do just fine, though. I don't think you should choose a spouse (or reject one) based on career. Unless the career is "crack dealer" or something like that, of course.

Just my $0.02
