Ok, I have an oval face shape, my hair is brunette and it goes down a bit below my collar bone, its straight, but not stick straight, i have a bit of wave. im willing to get it cut to a bit upbove my chin (thats the limit, lol) I have grown out bangs now, but I think i might get long sideswept bangs...any ideas?

The best thing to do is to ask a professional hairstylist so that they can look at your face. You should already have a couple of pictures of cuts you like. Your stylist, if good should be able to pick out the best one and make it work for you. You don't want t o get your hair cut in a way you'll regret for a little while.

i think that you should get side sweep bangs. don't cut your hair too short unless you are willing to take the time to grow it out if you don't like it. i cut my hair really short about to my chin. i hated it. so it is basically up to you. my opinion is that you should grow it out. most brunetts look better with longer hair.

You could do a slightly longer version of this.
