i have an xbox 360 and i was justing wanting to know if i should get a ps3 too. ive had my 360 since launch but i like that the ps3 has a blue ray player. so what do you think i should do?

Right now is the best time to get a PS3. The PS3 has a bunch of games to choose from. A few more exclusive games are coming out before the end of the year, and 2008 is the PS3's year for big exclusive games. Just to name a few exclusive games for next year: Killzone 2, Metal Gear Solid 4, Gran Turismo 5, The Getway 3, God of War 3, Final Fantasy XIII, and the list goes on.
Once those PS3 exclusives come out, you'll most likely be playing the PS3 more than the 360. And if you do decide to get a PS3, get the 80GB version.

Having a 360 and PS3 is the Ultimate choice. I have an xbox 360 and am planning to get a PS3. Getting a PS3 due to the blue ray isn't a good choice, for the games? Then yeah do it.

I dont think that the PS3 should be bought just because of the Blu ray player, but if you like the games, and the system, go for it. Having two consoles is a nice idea, just having a bit of a change. I personally would recommend a Wii, but hey its your choice. I aint a fanboy in any way. It is not a good time to get a PS3 now because the christmas sales and the January sales are coming up soon, i think it would be wiser to wait for a while. But please do get the 60GB version or the 80GB version since the 40GB version cannot play PS2 games and i dont think it can play PS1 games either.
