The San Diego Fires are out, but with hotspots, and or smoldering mulch piles etc. Today we have the Santa Ana winds...and it is worrysome. I was told while in line at the hardware store that the CDF (Dept of Forestry) Guy I was talking to said, "Yesterday we were on a Mulch Burn all day with water trying to get it out" He stated they are very busy still, with this kind of stuff. The big fires are contained. The cleanup stuff will go on for a long time.......

the fires have left behind much barren land that is subject to become hazardous during the winter months (winter in L.A. ha ha)
as far as any danger from the fires that were burning there is none at this time i believe they are out.
I wrk for the county of riverside and was on disaster duty and all our alerts are down.
