I went to primary school with a girl called Lauren. We got on really well in primary school and were really close. We even managed to have a first kiss in the last year. Then we both moved on to go to the same high school but lost contact due to being split up into different classes. I hadn't talked to her since 4 years ago until last night on MSN we had a decent conversation. She then asked me to her 16th party next weekend. She has a boyfriend although when I asked her last night was she happy and did she think it would last, she said probably not. I really like her. Going to her party at her house gives me a decent opportunity to get talking with her. I think Lauren & I would be perfect together.... any ideas/advice on what i should do???

Don't pressure yourself into asking her out at the party because there might be a chance that she is still with her bf. And if things don't work out between the two of them, you should just show her that you are there for her and not jump on her right away. After a while, you can ask her out and stuff. Good Luck.

Go to the party but go only as a friend, show her exactly what she is missing but dont make a move on her while she is going out with someone. If she isnt happy with her boyfriend then she will break up with him and if she see's that you are such fun and great to talk to she will naturally come running to you.

Just be careful that she isnt playing games, maybe she likes you and is having doubts about her current relationship but you dont want to be caught in the middle of that, just be there on the side lines waiting for her to become free but dont leave it too long either, you dont want to be her doormat when the love of your life could be passing you by and she keeps playing games with your heart.

I think she's planning on breaking up with her bf and is hoping to get together with you after. So I would wait until she breaks up with him first. Keep in touch with her until they break up...then, if you think she might still be liking you, ask her out. Good Luck!

wait it out... don't get TOO close (her boy might get ticked) if it doesn't work (with them)(don't move in too fast but not too slow) treat her right and ask her to hang out sometime to catch up...b/c her b-day might get crazy!
