What are you willing to pay for child care. 100.00 dollers sounds very cheap to me i was a nanny many years ago and I was paid 275 a week. I pay about 7$ an hour for babysitters. for 40 hours a week I would probably expect to pay about 150 to 200 a week. some places even more.

I do daycare and i charge a 1.50 an hour per child. I do not like taking a bunch of money from people. They need to survive too. I think child care costs have went through the roof!!! its insane!! i do NOT charge my moms if their kids are not here. And i charge the same price no matter what the ages are!!! I am not licensed and i am not registed. I am simply a stay at home mom. I love what i do. I love being able to stay at home with my children, i love my day care kids :) Its so much fun spending time with them. Im here to give them all of my attention. I love the smaller setting and i wouldnt charge more than 1.50 an hour!! during the day i only have my 4 month old, a 2 month old daycare baby, my 4 year old and a 3 year old daycare child. The rest are all after school.

Mom of 5 boys with 5 daycare kids.

It all depends where you live.
In Florida is about $ 180,00 a week for an infant until they are potty trainned.
In Connecticut is abour $280 a week for an infant and about $220 a week for a toddler.

And I know because I lived in both places and my son attended Day care in both places

I live in NY north of Albany and a decent daycare provider is anywhere from 150-200/wk for fulltime care.

day care where I live for a baby is like $190 a week and for my 4yearold is like &160. that's the cheapest "good" daycare. also, don't expect multiple child discounts. also, also, daycares need to carry more insurance and can't have as many children if they have babies AND they have to pottty train.
you also pay even if you're on vacation or absent so you hold your child's spot.

When my little man gets here we have him setup for a daycare that is $100.00 for a 40 hour week. Even if he isn't there for the whole 40 hrs, we still have to pay, to keep his spot
