I've noticed not all atheists have the same beliefs.....so are there names for certain groups of atheists the way we have names for different religions?

There are technically subcategories, but they are not for people, but for specific god beliefs.

Some people claim to be "strong atheists" with respect to certain Gods. They may make a positive claim that a certain God does not exist (because the God is logically impossible; example: the "square circle" God).

But those people are often "weak atheists" to other Gods (where they just lack belief in the God and make no positive claims of non-existence; example: the Deist God who by definition cannot be disproven).

Mmm, well, some beliefs (like politics) aren't really relevant to the topic, so not for those. But some people categorize between "strong atheists", and "weak atheists". "Strong" being further away from agnostic.

Some people also consider "atheist" itself to be a subcategory of "non-theist".

I'm not aware that there are groups. I just know the Bible god is fake cause I studied the Bible for years and took Bible classes throughout high school.
I assume atheists have differing levels knolwedge about church stuff; and most do not choose to be atheists per se, and many are occupied in scientific careers.

There are. I'm not particularly clear on the differences though.

Postive vs. Negative
Strong vs. Weak
Implicit vs. Explicit

These are approximately the same thing.
Since many Eastern religions are ambiguous about the existence of God there is also:

Religious* vs. Non-Religious

Two

Strong atheists-Think that the knowledge we have now is sufficient to disprove possible creators.

Weak atheists (vast majority of scholarly atheists (scientists, historians, theologians, etc.)-Think the information we have now is sufficient enough to not give the idea of deities any more credibility than any other archetype that could come out of the human mind.

Atheist, Antitheist Apatheist.

The majority of responces you will get are from Antitheists.

All of them are Atheist, but Apatheists don't hang around sites like this often.

A better question would be "Why would all atheists have the same beliefs"?

Atheism isn't a doctrine. Would we think that all people who don't believe in Santa or Unicorns are the same in every other area of their lives, beliefs, politics, and thought??

Yes.
Atheist that believes in gods and goddesses but not the Christian God.

Atheist that believes in the Christian God but does not believe all the myths and legends about the christian God.

Atheist that believes in no Gods of the world but only science for the source of creation, i.e. big bang creted him and his planet and he thinks globalization is therefore ok.

Atheist that believes in female gods, but not male gods and vice versa.

You could go on and on.

In essence they all believe that 'MATTER' is a god.

The atheists credo - - -

We believe in one Matter,
The almighty, the omnipotent
Maker of the whole universe
Of all that is seen and unseen
We believe in one Cosmic Egg
The only Son of Matter
Eternally begotten of Matter
Matter from Matter, Energy from Energy,
True Matter from True Matter
Begotten not made,
Of one being with Matter
Through the Egg all things were made
For us men and for our evolution
It formed itself in the heavens
By the power of the Energy it became incarnate into virgin space, and was made Egg
For our sake, it exploded in a singularity,
expanded, and expanded and became everything
In accordance with the ‘Big Bang’ story
It spread across the heavens and evolved into galaxies
It will continue in glory
Until the ultimate heat death

We believe in the Energy, the giver of life, which proceeds from the Matter and the Egg
With the Matter and the Egg it is worshipped and glorified
It has been revealed by the atheists
We believe in one, secular humanist and Darwinian faith
We acknowledge one, atheistic viewpoint for the education of all.
We look for the oblivion of the dead
And the destruction of the world to come.
