I prefer people names (It's so much funnier to hear about Cody biting Jimmy than Spot doing the same).
So, in this order:
Cody
Max
Comet
Rocky
I also suggest:
Billy, Jim, Frank, Walt, Bruno, Cozmo (Kramer), Jerry, George, Johnny, Bruce, and Ryan, PJ. Also, humanly titles like Pres (president), Sarge (Sergeant), Col. Sanders, etc.

They are all good names. Just try them out. Do you like calling one name better than the others? Does one fit the dogs personality better? It took me 3 days to choose a name for my puppy. Decided Boe didn't work, sounded to much like No.

Of the three, I would prefer Cody. I had a cat named Rocky. He rulled the neighborhood too. He would go out at night, roaming, howling, getting all the girls, and also getting into fights, until I had him fixed. Then he would still go out at nights, but only as a consultant.

I like Cody or Max. I personally prefer names that don't sound froo-froo or like a dog's name. I like people names.
What about Sean, Kyle, or Mikey?
