I'm a Pagan so I believe there are many more gods than that. How did I decide? I just studied and learned about them, and it all makes sense to me. Of course it's not for everyone and I'm not telling anyone that my religion is "better" than theirs. It's just right for me.

Dear Friend,
There are "numerous" gods in this world. Anything or anyone we put ...before Almighty Jehovah God...becomes OUR ...god.
Romans 1:25b says, "and worshipped and served the creature more than the CREATOR,..."
Mankind did not create him/her self. God is our Creator. He warns us that if we do not worship Him and Him alone...we are apt to drift off course and follow OTHER gods. A god can be ANYTHING that is put in place of our Creator (Jehovah) God. And that my friend is...Dangerous!
Exodus 20:3 says, Thou shalt have NO OTHER GODS before me."
Jehovah God is a jealous God. Why? He's our Creator. We didn't birth ourselves. We can't even control how many breaths of air we inhale. Duh!
Suppose one of my children decided they didn't want me as their mother anymore...and decided they wanted to live at their friends ...and have their mom as their mommy. How do you think I'd FEEL? Horrible! For sure. The friends mommy didn't go through child birth with....my child. Stay up late and comfort them when they were sick. Sacrifice, love and provide, protect, etc. How devistating! How heartbreaking!
So...now can you SEE? God is our Creator. He wants to be the LOVE of our life. He wants no other gods before Him. He wants to be NUMBER 1 and He deserves it. No one I've ever known would die for MY sins...or yours. But Jesus DID!
Anything...or anyone we put before our Creator (Jehovah God), becomes our god, cigarettes, drinking, friends, family, cars, houses, animals, nature, etc. It doesn't mean we aren't to love God's creation, but to put them on their proper place on the spiritual totem pole.
When you wake up in the morning, who/what is the FIRST thing you have on your MIND? If it isn't your Savior Jesus Christ.. it is another god and you will "never" see the face of your Redeemer when you die, because God said, "you will have no other gods before me." PERIOD!
There is only ONE true ...LIVING God...and His name is Jesus Christ. Amen! (grin)
