I think you're always ready for the special one... the question is can you find him/her? It's like asking, when are you ready to be happy? Of course you're ready to be happy all the time. The problem is how can you find that happiness?
It's harder to find that special someone when you're still young because your preference changes all the time. But when you become more matured, you will know more about what you want in life. That special someone is the one that shares that same thing in life, the one that is most compatible with you.

I don't believe in one person for everyone. If you are ready to settle down there are any number of other people who want to settle down who you might have a good relationship with. Many people can make you happy. This is a good thing and an optomistic thing.

When he is good enough for you to wait and get married to him!
No one is special enough if he's not willing to be around for the long road. Your first time should be with the guy you marry. No one else is good enough. There are many guys who will take advantage and tell you sweet lies to get what they want. Stand firm and go for the gold....a marriageable guy!

don't listen to your heart - its all tied in with emotion. be smart, think with your head! don't decide to do this if you are not emotionally ready. so many feelings will surface afterwards and you may regret doing it....take some more time....
