Few weeks ago he got an out of school suspension for being a bully and of course this wasnt his first time. He likes to bully his brothers and when he went to his dads house he even raised a fist at him. He has never done that at my house but i just got a call from the school and he had been mean to a younger student and commenting about their religion. Im am overwhelmed cause i did not bring any of my boyz to talk about anyones religion. I feel like im failing as a parent and dont know where to go from here cause i know its gonna get worse since he didnt learn the first time after the suspension and grounding. can anyone suggest where to go from here, he's a good kid when he wants to be i already feel im too hard on him but im to the point i cant let him out of my site.

Your son is confused. He's acting out because he's unable to express in a more mature way what he's feeling. Get him into counseling and help him learn how to express whatever underlying feelings are causing his actions. If he's bouncing back and forth between parents homes he may be reacting to that. Or there may be something going on that you don't know about. Counseling is the best route to take to help him and you get along better. Please do this sooner rather than wait. His actions are already starting to escalate and you don't want them to go any further.

The kid is TWELVE. Put a hand on his behind and tears in his eyes. If you don't make an impression on him now he is destined to be in and out of jail his whole life. He obviously only cares about himself and has no apathy for the kids he bullies. And he obviosly has no regard for how much violence he directs toward others.
Oh and make him apologize in front of everyone to the person he has bullied. Maybe some humility might bring him around.

How hard can you be on an intolerant bully? I think you need to get him into counseling before he hurts someone. He's angry, obviously, and out of control.
