The reason we broke up was because he got a girl pregnant behind my back we were pretty much high school sweethearts. When he found out she was pregnant he begged me to stay with him, he said he would take care of the baby but still be with me. I have a husband now and am 25 with a son, but i still think about him a lot. What makes the situation worse is that we share a lot of the same friends so i see every so often but we haven't spoken since i found out about the other girl(5 years ago) It was like from one day to the next we just stopped speaking. Is it wierd that he pops into my mind or that sometimes i feel like i miss him?

time doesn't heal all wounds, it just lessens....focus on u, life led u down a path without him for a reason. move on, sounds like this is a mental block, good luck!

Its not odd at all..it just shows that he meant more to you than just another chapter in your life. The truth is that you probably DO miss him or at least parts of the relationship you had with him. This isn't seriously unhealthy or uncommon. However, you have forced yourself to move on and I assume it was for the better. You have a husband and a son now and the life you live now is what you should concentrate on. Never let the past linger in front of you, but don't let it slip too far behind. History will repeat itself for those who forget.

No. It's completely normal. You care about him. I believe that once you love someone, it never really goes away. Whenever you see that person you get an awkward feeling and feelings tend to rush back at times. You always have a special place in your heart for that person. It's all normal.

Maybe you should feel it out and casually proceed to talk to him? Just about mundane things? Maybe that way, it will set your mind straight, that maybe things weren't meant to be as more than friends. And plus, maybe you miss certain things about him other than the romantic part of your relationship. Maybe you just miss talking?

I wish you luck, I really do!

Time will take care of it. Whenever he pops up in your mind think of your son and husband, force yourself if you have to.

it's not weird he was a big part of you life, but it's good that you have enough respect to get away from a guy who could do that to you..
