depends on the type of drumstick, a turkey drummie is bigger than a chicken, need to know this to best guess the weight of the bone.

It would seem that minus the bone which would include the joints, you would have 5.8 oz. less the weight of the skin. This has to be some fancy recipe to be measuring in eights of an ounce.
