It seems to me that no matter what the other teams do to win, they just can't compete with the bigger names of NASCAR. I believe this sport has become way to mainstream and sponsership heavy. This sport is nothing like the NFL when anyteam can win any game. Some NFL teams rise to greatness one year then the next year can't muchless win a game. Should NASCAR regulate teams to make sure that not only the measurements on the cars the same, but that teams have the same chance due to testing, money, sponsorship, etc. Maybe there should be some sort of salary cap on NASCAR teams.

Teams in all sports pay the big bucks for the best players.

Yes, HMS is the best NASCAR team but there is more than money involved here. Each team must act as a team, there are the pit crews doing the 11 second pit stops, you have the spotter keeping the driver out of trouble, crew chief making the correct decisions every time, the team owners showing the support the team needs, & of course you have the driver. You need all of these elements clicking together to have a successful season, HMS is hot these past few years, you can't really fault them for being the best.

As far as putting a cap on the salary see no reason for it, heck in other sports they are paid millions upon millions of dollars to play. How many of these player get to the big leagues and just suck? Many of them do. It's different in NASCAR they don't get paid just to show up, In NASCAR the better you do the more money you make.....quite an incentive to succceed.

No one has dominated a race season like this since Dale Earnhardt Sr.
Rick Hendrick is a very good manager and car owner. He believes in research and developement. Almost all of the Car of Tomorrow (COT) have been won this year by his teams. WHY? They went out and tested, tested, tested.
Yeah, it costs money to do that. But he's got it back 10 fold this year. Next year all of the races will be with COT car's. So expect Henddricks Teams to start dominating right out of the gate at Daytona.
Note: I'm not a Hendricks fan, but I have to give Mr Hendricks my respect and give him credit for doing what he has this year.
Note2: Rick Hendricks hasn't always had an easy road. He lost his father and son 2yrs ago in a plane crash (he's being sued by some employees wives now) and he's beat cancer.
He's paid his dues and I do not think anyone has a problem with his success this year. Now if he does it again next year..well.

Yes, and let's create football teams of clones so that THEY are all equal. It seems like the New England Patriots are "winning every week" also. Sometimes when your that good it pisses other people off but such is life. The yankees spend the most money to field great teams but even then it doesn't insure championships. It is the same in NASCAR.

i feel your pain, althought I am a Jeff Gordon fan to the hilt, I would've liked to seen nemachek and dale jarrett soar more this year.... biffle got in there this week....that was cool... its just as nice to see your team and driver make good week after week too... I think it comes down too who wants to win it the most... i know that sounds lame, but when a driver keeps winning and has cash in his pocket and he's not worried about endorsements and keeping owners happy because he's doing so well... they just ease into first everyweek... I think they call it charisma... jimmy's on roll right now... remember when jeff G. couldn't be stopped... race after race after race, championship after championship... I am actually encouraged by the union of dale E. and hendrix, i think we'll see other team dynasty's start to acrue and then we'll see a lot of the classic team moves again... next year is going to be a passion year for the races i think...

Hendricks is a step above eveyone right now. It was Childress, Roush and Evernham had some good races last year. JT and JG's teams are just beter than anyone right now. It just makes everyone elsework harder.

It is the Multi Car teams have the advantage--More track tests--more sponsorship monies--more drivers to share information-more people to figure out the best way and on and on!!!!!!

The other teams will catch up. Wait till next year. Nobody is really that good.
You don't want too much parity, because then it would be the same teams winning every week.

Thanks to the France family thirty teams are capable of winning. #48 just has had a lucky streak. Same for Jeff Gordon when he won four in a row. Petty won so many races everyone was saying it was fixed. It all evens out.

dude you can't compare a ball game with motorsports. certain guys gotta win more than others so they can win the championship. if you haven't noticed, there's no ball in NASCAR
