Your son is obviously getting a religious education and should go to a pastor or priest within that denomination to get the answers that will be considered "right" by that group.
Part of the problem with this question is there is significant differences between the Christian groups.
Some believe that there was a man who was also "God the Son" who gave up his invulnerability but not all his powers while being human. Others believe that he had a unique relationship with God that was a model for others to aspire to in their lives. While most Europeans and Americans refer to him as Jesus, the name in the New Testament is Joshua (or alternatively presented as Yeshua).
Some believe God to be the author of only good while others believe God to be the author of good and evil.
Protestants primarily use selected Jewish texts (Old Testament) and selected Greek Texts (New Testament) totalling 66 "books" in their bible as the only acceptable information on what it means to be Christian. Catholics (not just one church btw) typically use those books, some more books called the deutrocanonical books, and writings of early Christians.
Some Christians believe the bible is literally true and infallible. Others consider it a pointer towards an understanding that requires knowing the context of when and why the texts were written combined with personal prayer and meditation.
Sorry if this confuses things more but contrary to what is taught by any single Christian group or even the louder voices in the overall community - - there really isn't any one simple answer.
And, if that wasn't complicated enough, the Old Testament values and beliefs are in many cases the exact opposite of the New Testament beliefs.
Finally, the lexicons (translation dictionaries) for Christians do not necessarily translate a word the same way that a secular or Jewish based Hebrew lexicon would.
Have fun!

So, only 3 things about God that have an effect on my behavior? #1 - God has everything all worked out for mankind. I can't do anything about politics, or poverty, or war. I leave those things up to Him. #2 - God sent Jesus to Earth to set an example for us. I don't always do this, but we're supposed to consider what Jesus would do when we're faced with a perplexing problem. #3 - God IS love. His other attributes are wisdom, power and justice. God loves us and wants us to love one another. That's not the same as enjoying everybody else's company, which would be impossible. Even when we don't like somebody, we can still treat them with respect.

I'll give you three of mine:
1. God gives us all choice. There is not predestined anything for individuals, hence I make sure that when I do anything I understand that I am choosing to do so and will have to face the consequences. Also since I have it everyone else has it too, so when wickedness happens to me it's not His fault but the fault of the person that did it to me.
2. I am useless to God as a cow. What that means is that I need to get all the education I can, think about the mysteries of the universe and His role in them and well as mine. Also I cannot expect my life to go on hunky dory with no problems, there will be trials, they will strengthen me.
3. He actually wants me to get back to Him. Though he tries me and allows me to be tempted, He provides a way back, if I will choose to take it. No matter how dark the night or how terrifiying the enemy, I have hope.
And I hope that answered it for you, by the way for the person wanting to evoke the ACLU they should note that the seperation of church and state is not in the constitution and that learning about people of all religions constitutes a well rounded education.

1. I can't. ( I am not God)
2. He can.( He is all, alpha and omega, Omiprecient, omnibeing.)
3. He will. ( He "covenants" with his people, creation. This covenant can not and will not be broken, sealed with the sacrifice of his son)
This is what Christians believe. All of the bible and all doctrine of the CHURCH sates these three things. We are the created, He is the Creator, He will do as he wills.
How does it affect our behavior?
We live by our own "free will" untill it doesn't work anymore. We acknowledge his ability to manage our lives by his will not ours, and we accept his will by living in his word. Do we all do it? We all live with our free will, after that it depends on the spiritual experiences of the individual if he acknowledges the creator and lives by his will or not. My life is the attempt at doing God's will. Of my own "free will" I have surrendered to the fact of God, and thank him for showing me mercy instead of justice.

I believe God is my heavenly father and so therefore just as a natual father I believe that i represent him in my actions. For ex, If your mother is the Queen people expect for you to act a certain way. Well I believe that I should represent God in how I handle myself. That doesnt mean i will do it perfect but I strive to do things right not try to figure a way around it.
I believe God is forgiving so if God can forgive all the stupid stuff I do, I can surely forgive others.
I also believe God is loving so I cant be all hateful and say I live for God.
I hope this helps with your assignment.

1. Christians believe Jesus Christ is the Son of the Living God. Born of a virgin conceived by the Holy Spirit.
When we realize that Jesus is the seed of the Woman promised in Genesis3:15 to defeat the snakes deception & the curse of death. Then we realize that we can follow after His example. He lived a life without sin & because of that, He raised from the dead.
2. Jesus shed His blood on the cross of Calvery for the remission of our sins. This is available for all people.
When we realize we are a sinner & the wages of sin is death, we realize we need a savior to save us from our sins. So? We receive Jesus atonement for our sins. And His blood cleanses us from all sins.
3. We believe Jesus raised from the dead for us, so we who believe in Him will raise up like Him on resurrection day complete.
Jesus is the 'Seed of the Women' who was born without sin nature & he didn't sin like the first Adam. So? He had victory over the grave for us. So, He paid the price for us to receive eternal life. This is a gift of God to receive through faith & not by works lest anyone boast.
So? When we then are born of God, born of His Spirit, cleansed by His Blood, then we are children of the King of Kings & inherit His Kingdom being part of the family of God.
The old man goes down in water baptism, & the sins are washed away in His redeeming blood, & the New spiritual man in Christ Jesus is alive forever more.
Then the change is occuring daily as we renew our minds in Gods Word & in Gods Spirit.
The biggest change is in the beginning when the person isn't a body, soul & dead/blind spirit, but quickened spiritually. Is whole; body, soul & spirit. The body is still corruptible, & that is why we need to renew our mind in Gods Word. And the truth sets us free from deceptions & bondages. And this makes us change for the better.

I believe that there is a Creator God, Who takes individual interest in each of us. For me, that means there is a purpose to what happens to me, good and bad. Sometimes, I have no idea what that purpose is, but looking for it helps me to put things in perspective.
Along with the perspective thing, I believe that what makes me an individual - call it my soul, for lack of a better term - is immortal. In 10,000 years, how important will it be that I was cut off in traffic this morning?
And along those lines, I believe that everyone I meet is just as immortal as I am. In the overall scheme of things, that makes every human being infinitely precious. People are not to be abused. (Given the strong streak of sarcasm in my nature, I don't always follow that last one as well as I should, but at least I try.)
Hope this helps.

I would think the teacher is looking for what Craig said. Here is how to make it personal:
Omnipotent - all powerful.......It is God who holds the worlds in orbit, the stars and the moon. He has orchestrated all of creation to exist and work together like clockwork. He can speak and the waters obey. He can will the wind to blow. And He can control the circumstances of our lives in order to get our attention.
Omniscient : God knows everything there is to know. And He knows your name. He knows how many hairs are on your head. He knows what you think. He know what you desire. He knows if you are sincere when you ask Him for forgiveness. He knows when your heart is breaking. He knows what needs you have. He knows if you really love Him and put Him first in your life.
Omnipresent - You cannot escape God. His presence is everywhere. He does not run in times of trouble. He has no fear. His love compels Him to be ever present, waitin for us to turn to Him in defeat, in pain, in dispair, in joy, in love, in every situation. He is a Father who is present for His children. And even those who are not His children cannot escape Him..........His arm reaches every nook and cranny of the universe.

I believe he knows all things about me, and yet he loves me anyway...
That is a very powerful thing in my life...unconditional love..it keeps me grounded...
I believe God guides my way by the Holy Spirit in all that I do.
When I have done all I can do, I let go and let God...he knows what's best for me...
I believe God is preparing a place for me and all those who believe in his Son, and will come for us someday soon.
This gives me great comfort,,,whether I live or die,,,,I will be with him. "To be absent from the body,,,is to be present with the Lord"....Awesome!

We believe that Jesus said that the two greatest Commandments are to love God and love your neighbor. This means that I am polite to others and, if possible, provide for their needs. This can be through money donations or through service (deliver meals to the elderly).
