Of all of the religions in the world, it appears Islam is the most unsettling. There appears to be no peace. No matter what geographical area or culture, if it predominantly Islam, chaos ensues. Is this because Muhammad was violent?

muslims are not chaotic islam is based on peace and many of us do more peaceful acts then any of you we do charity we help others we practice peace muhammad was very peaceful the violence is comming from a minority of muslims who are being publisized so much and the geographical area is the same area as the religion of the jews and the christians

Your question is presumptuous and you should seek to look deeper into the actual question and not be a pawn of media and political manipulation.
We have to consider if any such people, as a whole, by their ethnicity, creed or color, can be categorized. To me, this seems to immediately indicate ignorance and a willingness to be a dupe.
We can say little more about Muslims, who find their land constantly occupied and their resources frequently plundered, than we can say about Americans all being ignorant, presumptuous war-mongers who think they have the right to create the world in their own image like the idol of a hypcrite who says, "Do as I *say* not as I *DO*
Educate yourself and broaden your mind.
You will find that the Good vs. Evil, Black vs. White world the politicians paint for the public is not so simple.
Let's hope the public is also not so simple.

Saying that all Musilms are violent is like saying that all American's are vicious, bloodthirsty terrorists just because of the KKK. Islam is actually a very peaceful religion, and only radical, twisted murderers like Osama Binladin and the Ruler of Iran are truly violent. Your current belief should be dropped immediately, before everyone starts to think that you are a racist, ignorant jerk.

You're making generalizations about a group of people that are based on the behaviors of a minority of that group. The Muslims who are not violent or create chaos just don't get as much news coverage. Beware the media.

Not all Muslims are violent!!!
There is a radical movement within Islam that started many many years ago and has been allowed to grow.
The Koran does not tell them to kill but many of the Imans that preach to the Muslims give false interpretations and help the violence grow.

This is what happens when the insanity created and sponsored by Abrahamic religions is allowed to reign unchecked. This is the state of affairs that many violent vocal christians are pushing for in the US.
In short, if you don't like that sort of thing, might want to work with us evil atheists to try to deny them the fruition of their schemes.
