Last time in snowed here in Austin, Texas was Valentine's day, February 14, 2004 when we got 1.6 inches of snow. I am told it snows about once every 10 years in Austin, but it has already snowed twice since I moved here in 1994, so we are ahead of schedule.

1900 hours GMT. I live in the foothills of the Cairngorm Mountains in the North of Scotland and it is snowing like hell at this moment. Cannot tell if it will settle and make a mess of the service road to get out from my cottage, but if I cant, who cares!!?

It wasn't snowing here when you asked the question, but then I think the Edinburgh version of snow is called rain....

I'd rather be where the snow is snow, myself, but the job says I stay here... :(

No snow yet - frosty and cold as it has always been this time of year. Though there should be snow around Jan/Feb time, there usually is.
