we are both 18 and lost our virginity together. we agreed to separate 2 months ago. but now she is acting like a total s**g, and trying to rub my nose in it by doing it with lads i see regularly. what is the motivation behind this kind of behaviour?

The only motivation behind something like this is shes lonly and wants to get attention from who ever she can get it from. Alot of girls think that the only way to feel wanted is when a guy wants to sleep with her, she just dosnt get it yet that its all the guys your age want at this time, but at this time thats all she needs. I dont know the whole story between you guys, but shes also doing it to hurt you and show that shes moved on, even though part of her still hurts from yall being over. If I was you I would ask her why she is doing this and tell her that you thought she was better then that..maybe part of her is wanting you to say something to her. But if you say that you thought she was better then that..it will slap her with a dose of reality, but she could also get mad and not take anything. As for you, you need to just let it go..its hard and it sucks to see someone you cared and love do this but shes got to learn from her old mistakes and you derserve a better girl then that. Youll be ok...much as it sucks and trust me it does...time really does heal everything..just sucks because you wish you could move on then and there like they have.

I have a better question:
WHY are your buddies / mates WILLING to sleep with her? As the saying goes "it takes two to tango", and I doubt that these friends of yours were unconscious or raped by her.
We agree that she is doing self-destructive behavior. She's trying to get your attention and doesn't care the outcome of her poor decision-making.
She needs counseling and an std check up.
Your mates need a stiff kick in their heads for their infidelity toward YOUR FRIENDSHIP. You need some NEW mates, and better choices in women, young man!

She is displaying a level of immaturity and acting out against you by sleeping with your friends. If she acts this way, you obviously did the right thing by breaking up with her. She isn't ready for a real relationship and is acting like a child.
But what about your friends? Why are they stabbing you in the back by crawling into bed with her? That's not cool on their part either.

nothing is going on in her head but it's all going on in her pants. she's trying to make you jealous and is playing a dangerous game. she's discovered this power that she can use to seduce but she's going to wake up and feel a total idiot and wish she never hurt you...let her find her own salvation..move on and dump the scanky mates that want the crumbs off your plate. Your mates are well dodgy guy!

She might be trying to get back at you to show you what you could have had. Chances are she's bitter and you should have a talk with her. If she's just havin fun then just forget her, she's just not a good person.
