I first heard people making that claim in 1987. When I asked why they chance they said they always had, just had not said anything. I can read the Bible, even if they have to make a lot of theirs up. The King James Bible is distorted so they love it. It even has "unicorns" in it.
Jesus has never been G-d. They just assume they can say that, then have am "image" of G-d, without sinning. Ha.

In the seed is the plan. The plan has all of the parameters that allow the utilization of matter to be performed and bring about new substances from the matter that is utilized. The seed is the devise used to implement the plan and holds the plan. The seed is not the fruit from which it was spawned nor the tree from which the fruit came, but each fruit has seeds and each seed is capable, under the correct circumstances, to produce more trees that will, in turn, produce more fruit and more seeds. The plan that is in the seed is responsible for everything that comes from not only that particular seed but every tree, fruit, and seed that comes after it.
Did Jesus make the earth? Yes, under the direction of His Father---God. Genesis 1 is the plan Genesis 2 is the creation.
Jesus is the creator of all that we know to exist. That does not mean that we know all that exists, neither does it mean we are able to even comprehend all that really is.

Genesis1 In the beginning God (Elohim) created the heavens & the earth.

John1 In the beginning was the Word & the Word was with God & the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God (Elohim). All things were made by Him: & without Him was not anything made that was made.

Jesus said that if you knew the Father, you would know who He Is.

The Christian faith is that Yahweh Elohim (LORD God) is God the Father, Word & Holy Spirit; One Yahweh.

1Jn5 There are 3 who bear witness in heaven; the Father, Word & Holy Spirit, & these 3 are 1.
So God the Father, Word & Holy Spirit is One Yahweh.

Also, in the OT it is written that the LORD said that beside Him is no other Savior. In the NT it is written that there is no other Name than 'Jesus' by whom man can be saved. Jesus is really 'Yeshua' meaning 'He will save' or 'Savior'. For He will save His people (Those who believe in Him.).

Yes. Since eternity past. Yes, He spoke the universe into existence.
I think man created peanut butter, God just created the peanut.

In the beginning was the Word, the Word was with God and He was God.

All things seen and unseen are created by Him (Jesus) and all things are sustained by Him (Jesus).

Jesus said, I do nothing on My own, only what the Father shows Me, that I do and say.

Zechariah 12:10-"And I will pour out on the house of David and the inhabitants of Jerusalem a spirit of grace and supplication. They will look on me, the One they have pierced, and they will mourn for him as one mourns for an only child, and grieve bitterly for him as one grieves for a firstborn son.

This is when Jesus was pierced on the Cross. God Bless!

Dear Friend,

The Bible is very clear about the deity of Jesus Christ and that He is in fact, God.

Yes, the Trinity is three in one. God (Jehovah), Jesus (the Son of God), and the Holy Spirit (Teacher, Comforter, Protector...Power). Take an egg for instance. It too is "three in one." The yolk, the white and the shell.

When you describe an egg... do you just describe one part of it...or all of it by calling it an "egg?" It's not just the yolk or the white or the shell. It is ONE. It takes all ...three to make up the substance of an egg. The Trinity is similar to that of the egg illustration. They are all independent and yet they are ONE. Does that help?

Also please read the following:

Jesus’ claim about Himself
John 8:58-59: "‘I tell you the truth,’ Jesus answered, ‘before Abraham was born, I am!’ At this, they picked up stones to stone him, but Jesus hid himself, slipping away from the temple grounds.”

This is a powerful double claim from Jesus: first, that He pre-existed His human birth and was actually alive and present (as God) before Abraham; second, that His title was “I am” -- which was the same title used for Jehovah God in Exodus 3:14. His listeners got the point and proceeded to pick up stones to execute Him.

Another of Jesus’ claims of deity
John 10:30-33: “‘I and the Father are one.’ Again the Jews picked up stones to stone him, but Jesus said to them, ‘I have shown you many great miracles from the Father. For which of these do you stone me?’ ‘We are not stoning you for any of these,’ replied the Jews, ‘but for blasphemy, because you, a mere man, claim to be God.’”

It couldn’t be clearer than it is here: Jesus’ highly educated listeners understood His claim of deity. They only had two possible responses: to humble themselves and bow before Him as the Magi and the disciples had done earlier, or reject His claim and judge Him as a blasphemer. Unfortunately they chose the latter option. But notice that Jesus doesn’t argue with their accusation, because it was accurate. He really was claiming to be God!

Thomas’ response to the resurrected Jesus
John 20:27-29: “Then He said to Thomas, ‘Put your finger here; see my hands. Reach out your hand and put it into my side. Stop doubting and believe.’ Thomas said to him, ‘My Lord and my God!’ Then Jesus told him, ‘Because you have seen me, you have believed; blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.’"

This disciple realized, because of Jesus’ resurrection, who Jesus really was -- and humbly worshiped Him and declared His true identity: “My Lord and my God!” Jesus not only accepts this declaration, but blesses all of the disciples -- and all of us today -- who come to the same realization and place of humble worship.

Halljauh to the Lamb of God!

Blessings in Christ Jesus,

Gen 1 In the beginning, when God created the heavens and the earth,

John 1

1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
2 He was in the beginning with God.
3 All things came to be through him, and without him nothing came to be. What came to be
4 through him was life, and this life was the light of the human race;
5 the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.
6 A man named John was sent from God.
7 He came for testimony, to testify to the light, so that all might believe through him.
8 He was not the light, but came to testify to the light.
9 The true light, which enlightens everyone, was coming into the world.
10 He was in the world, and the world came to be through him, but the world did not know him.
11 He came to what was his own, but his own people did not accept him.
12 But to those who did accept him he gave power to become children of God, to those who believe in his name,
13 who were born not by natural generation nor by human choice nor by a man's decision but of God.
14 And the Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us, and we saw his glory, the glory as of the Father's only Son, full of grace and truth.

Exodus 3

13 "But," said Moses to God, "when I go to the Israelites and say to them, 'The God of your fathers has sent me to you,' if they ask me, 'What is his name?' what am I to tell them?"
14 God replied, "I am who am." Then he added, "This is what you shall tell the Israelites: I AM sent me to you."

John 8

49 Jesus answered, "I am not possessed; I honor my Father, but you dishonor me.
50 I do not seek my own glory; there is one who seeks it and he is the one who judges.
51 Amen, amen, I say to you, whoever keeps my word will never see death."
52 (So) the Jews said to him, "Now we are sure that you are possessed. Abraham died, as did the prophets, yet you say, 'Whoever keeps my word will never taste death.'
53 Are you greater than our father Abraham, 21 who died? Or the prophets, who died? Who do you make yourself out to be?"
54 Jesus answered, "If I glorify myself, my glory is worth nothing; but it is my Father who glorifies me, of whom you say, 'He is our God.'
55 You do not know him, but I know him. And if I should say that I do not know him, I would be like you a liar. But I do know him and I keep his word.
56 Abraham your father rejoiced to see my day; he saw it 22 and was glad.
57 So the Jews said to him, "You are not yet fifty years old and you have seen Abraham?"
58 24 Jesus said to them, "Amen, amen, I say to you, before Abraham came to be, I AM." (Emphasis in original)
59 So they picked up stones to throw at him; but Jesus hid and went out of the temple area.
