Some theories state that the brain uses sleep to reorganize our memories and data. These are often seen through the filter of a charged limbic system, which makes everything more emotional and chaotic. Dreams have no meaning. You may have lice, head, lady, and bug data in your memory and your mind was linking them up in your dream. You probably had an exceptionally bad emotional experience while this was going on.

there was probably something crawling on your head. dreams are sometimes incurred through real senses (touch, smell).
like if you smelt roast chicken while sleeping you'd dream about it.
there was probably a spider in your hair or something.
