this year's nascar season had it's ups and downs, but it was just the best ever. i can't wait until 2008 season to start.

Its been awful and Im a Jeff Gordon fan. This whole year as been one big bore fest. It started with Mark being hosed in Daytona. Then it continued with the COT which provides some of the most boring racing i have ever seen on tv. Its sort of like watching formula one. You start where you finish. No adjusts in that car and NASCAR refuses to make changes. Plus the chase format is dumb.

Well, I was in Phoenix, I never heard so many complaints about this season, it was unreal. Alot of people are just sick of the chase, COT, and one team total domination, and the lack of racing until the last 50 laps or so.. I can't wait till 2008, hopefully all the teams can bring up the competition level to where there is some real competition, not the same team winning every week.. Congrats to Jimmie..

I whole heartedly agree.
Going into Phoenix Clint Bowyer (3rd in the chase) had more points than the chase leader had at that point last season. I think that speaks to the incredible level of racing that has gone on this season.
Jeff and Jimmy have been unbelievable and both deserve a championship. Unfortunately there is only one to give out.

I totally agree Johnson really, really deserves the title, I know that Jeff Gordon won the regular season, but you know just like every other sport there are play -offs, some you win, and some you lose, but Jimmie really came back in the chase and proved a point, and I really don't care what you hater think it's the truth!!!!!! J O H N S O N R O C K S !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

There were a lot of great races. It's coming down to the wire w/ the 2 best teams ALL year.

Where have you been for all the other past years of racing? I for one do not think this has been a good year for Nascar. I go to the tracks and see more empty seats this year than in the past. The old diehard fans such as myself, are tired of the constant rule changes and the COT.

Changing rules?Finding Phantom debris?A total lack of Consistancy?Increased amounts of ignorant fans that think being drunk and throwing trash is showing support for a driver?
There was even some good racing.Just to much POLITICS involved.
