Not really, it's more like an opportunity to help out some folks with knowledge that they might not otherwise be able to acquire. I suppose in THAT sense it CAN be a spiritual experience but NOT one of those Earth Shattering kinds of things.

Yahoo answers is just about the only spiritual experience available to me. None of my few atheist friends are ever willing to discuss religion in any form and none of my Christian neighbors are trustworthy enough to be given the knowledge that I'm a lifelong atheist. If it weren't for this forum, I'd have nobody to discuss spirituality with. The personal safety afforded by this anonymous forum is very important to me.

Yes, but I tend to see everything in my life as a spiritual experience. The physical part of the Universe (like chemistry or any other example of mass/energy in the space/time continuum) is just the tip of the iceberg of reality.

Too many people are so involved with the objective part of reality that they miss or misunderstand the subjective part. This question and answer forum is a good place to be reminded about what is important. The key might be to ignore those who walk around with their eyes closed and their fingers in their ears.

Anything and everything can be a spiritual experience if you gain something out of it, if you let it be. So it can be.

I'm not saying to go out and do any and everything, lol. I'm just saying that there is a higher reality to everything, or everything is illustrative to something that can aid you in concept. In regards to Y!A's there is much to gain when it comes to perspective. Anything that can help with the growth of perspective is indeed a growing experience.

spiritual experience---no. but a way to share my personal experience---yes. people try too hard to do the one-up-man-ship on yahoo answers---religion and spirituality portion.

i have learned a few things---questioned a few things---grown spiritually in my faith. held more firmly to my convictions because of some of the pure idocy I have read. but no--not a spiritual experience. :-) thanks for asking

Some are spiritual, but mostly crap. I guess most answers are thrown in just for earning points. That's why based on my answer on this one, it's somewhat debatable, repressive, argumentative, radical, far out, ludicrous, unnerving, offensive, hyped, superficial, melo-dramatic, and stereo-typical. It just goes to show that nothing beats "reality".

I have seen it on Answers in some of the questions have asked, and I have felt it from some of my contacts in their emails

Yes, I see the Lord's words flashed across the computer monitor and i hear Her sweet voice whispering in my ear how, soon, very soon, She will give me the key to Level 6 and I will be on my way to immortality.
