dont you hate it when you ask a question and someone answers your question with another question....sometimes more than one...dont you hate that? do you? and dont you hate it when someone asks the same question a bunch of times or when someone rambles on and on and never makes a complete statement?

Oh yes indeed I hate that. It's almost like the person sees it as a way to act superior or to vent instead of trying to sincerely answer your question.

Q: dont you hate it when you ask a question and someone answers your question with another question....sometimes more than one...dont you hate that?
A: Not really when the question makes a point. There's many people that ask a question that doesn't need an answer because they just see it as an opportunity to make a statement.

The only time I answer a question with a question is when there isn't enough information for me to give an adequate answer. Then I usually ask them to give more details so that I can help that person.

For example, I tried answering a question earlier for a girl in the Christmas section saying she wanted to get her boyfriend something for Christmas but she didn't know what. The only information she gave about him was that he's 17. I asked her to provide some more information because the fact that he's 17 isn't much to go on when picking out a gift.

Honestly, it drives me nuts when I ask people to include more details to their question so I can help them out and they never include those details.

i totally agree. the solution to your problem is asking a question that only requires a "yes" or "no" answer.
