I just turned 18 and im looking into getting my first tattoo. The inspiration of the tattoo is the passing of my grandmother on christmas day due to cancer. Im looking at 2 angel wings with her initials inbetween the bottom of the wings with a banner about the wings that reads "You Shall Live With Me Forever"

Will they do a tattoo on my upper back just below the neck if its my first tattoo? Will there be a lot of stretching to that area that will affect the appearence of the tattoo?

ANY HELP IS GREAT. ALSO, any ideas on what else i could put in the banner that might be shorter?

Thank you in advance!

Don't get a tattoo. - One day someone you need to impress or get work from will inevitably judge you as being a loser. - A $25 tattoo might cost $5000 to remove, and health insurance does not cover tattoo removals. You are spirit, having a human experience. The physical part of you is not some piece of property belonging to the spiritual part of you. Your body is the temple of God, more sacred than any building. If I was a caretaker of a building, I would not put graffiti on it. I would be answerable to the owner. Your body is on loan from God and you are its caretaker. Think about Karma, dude. Think about acupuncture - how would you have any idea what energy pathways will be disrupted by the tats or piercings? Why not design a t-shirt, which you can discard when you are bored with it?

any tattoo can and will stretch if the skin that it is on stretches. that would likely require a very large weight gain, so it really depends on you. most tattoo shops don't have policies of where they will and won't tattoo for first timers except possibly face and hands. is there a reason you want it to be directly under your neck? it seems like it would look more fitting between your shoulderblades since that is anatomically where wings would go, if you had them.
i'm generally not a fan of words in tattoos, so if you are unsure of what you want there then you should not put a banner with words. if you later feel like it would look better you could add them, it's much easier to add to a tattoo then to live with something that you're not completely happy with.
also i would advise getting larger wings than smaller ones. tho many people who are first timers tend to go for something small (i did) wings are something that can be truly amazing or just.... eeh.
good luck!

They will give you your first tatt anywhere you ask them too. No, it shouldn't stretch. If you like "Forever in my heart" it's shorter than what you wanted initially.
