Do you have a full suit? If you do, that would be best. If not, wear a nice button up shirt (tucked in), a tie, and a pair of nice slacks. No sneakers.

I have interviewed and hired people for a shop I manage. The best thing to wear is business casual. If the job were some higher level business management job, that would be different. You don't want to show up better dressed than the person interviewing you.
I'd suggest a nice clean shirt and pants. I don't think it will matter if it is tucked in or not for this particular job. Make sure you look tidy, clean teeth, trimmed hair, shave, and that your nails are trimmed and that they are clean. Do not wear cologne.

If you have time, check out what the managers or non-uniformed staff are wearing and then dress down just a little from that. An interview is a formal situation and so you need to make sure your clothes are clean, smart and just a little conservative. You may not need to be in a suit and tie, or tuck your shirt in, but you have to look like someone who knows how to behave around the general public.

I don't know what harris teeter is, but I'd recommend a suit. Definitely tuck in your shirt and wear a tie. If you don't have a suit coat, then just wear the nicest shirt and tie you have. And of course dress pants (no jeans).
I always feel it's better to be over dressed then under dressed.

Boy ....if you have to ask about tucking in your shirt .............well maybe just one suggestion for your kind........comb your hair and make sure that your shoes match and are tied. And don't stare into the sun its not good for your eyes. And don't stick a fork in the plug socket. And don't play with matches. It would be a good idea to watch all of your old Barney tapes all over again.. on slow before someone gives you a job

Dress according to your job description. Appearence is
everything, so get a hair cut, shave, shower, and brush your
teeth, If your casual button down shirt, has a tail, do tuck it in,
and make sure your socks, match.
Tell the truth, because they will do a background check on you
anyway. Good luck. <}:-})

Always dress up. Shirt (tucked in) and tie. and yes even for a garbage mans job.
You always want to show that you can go the extra mile and put forth more effort than they're asking. It also shows respect for yourself to present a neat apperance. Something that is important to an employer.
It also shows repect for the interviewer and the time they are spending from their own busy day to meet with you.

Definately tuck in your shirt....A nice polo shirt (tucked in, ironed, and looks nice), a belt, kaki pants, and some nice shoes. Don't forget to comb your hair and take a shower too, this also helps. But they may ask questions like....why do you want to work here? And be prepared to answer questions like "What can you offer us that other employees can't". Good Luck....I hope you get the job!!

Of course you tuck your shirt in, wear a neat tie, neat hair, sharp suit or pressed pants and nice sports jacket.
Always polish your shoes! Make sure your breath doesnt smell, and dont slouch in the chair. Ask plenty of relevant questions to show you are really interested. Keep your head up, talk slowly and dont mumble.
Good luck with it--I bet you get the job!!!

It is always a good idea to wear a suit. I would suggest
a white shirt and a tie. The suit can be black or blue.
Those are the basic colors to play it safe.
Good luck!
