THANK YOU!
(to make this a question)
How many "thank you's" do you receive on veterans day?

Yesterday, I actually received none. Not that I was looking for any.
It was kind of disappointing that many people who I came across didn't even know it was Veterans Day. Many places said to come celebrate veterans day with them. I went and asked if we got any discounts, they replied NO.
So what was the point? So they could make more money

A few from fellow Vets as i was walking around in my old unit shirt and boonie cover. I find it disgusting that all the ads in the paper for Veterans day sales but they aint for Veterans the sales are for everyone. So I tned to not go out today cause its cr@p.I did go out earlier though I overheard at the Army/Navy surplus store one employee telling the other to ask the people if they are Vets then give them a discount. He even said the guy with the boonie looks like one(me) So I was looking around and the guy was like can I help u i told him what im looking for they didnt have it then i found something i was going to buy. The guy didnt ask anything about me being a Vet so when it came time to pay i was like oh i forgot my money and left. When i got home i called and told the manager about what i heard him say and the employee didnt ask me so they lost my business.Thank you for your thank you.

Plenty, probably more than I deserve. I say that meaning there are Veteran's who paid a much higher price than I have by serving. I never joined for the Thank you or to be a hero. I joined because I needed it to become a better person.

Actually, I got a good number of people who thanked me for my service and said happy Veterans Day and being that the Marine Corps birthday was just a couple of days before, I was greeted with a Happy Marine Corps Birthday to boot. Thanks for asking, I was happy to serve.

Catbread by utilising Deadmau5 is in all probability my renowned. It takes some listens to completely draw close it yet theres actually a patriotic experience and an underlying message approximately bringing the troops abode.

About a half-dozen, if I'm lucky.

And thank you for thinking of us vets today.
