So I can never get a crew cut because I think it gives me a bullethead kind of like "Bert" from Sesame Street. I usually keep a bonsai shape for my hair. What do stylists call that shape? Tapered sides?? This is me last month

Sometimes new stylists who don't know my headshape will cut too close and give me a bullet-head. How do I tell them I have a bullet-head and to give me like a bonsai tree shape?

Why not just take a picture of yourself the way you like to look and then take that in to the barber/stylist? Or most cutters have magazines or portfolios in the waiting area and you could flip through while you are waiting and then show that to the cutter!

Seek the help of a hair stylist, not a barber.

A barber will do want you want,
but, typically, doesn't have the time to figure out your
head or face shape, your whims, etc.
That's a stylist's job.

Spend the extra bucks this time around on the stylist
to see what they can do for you.
Any unisex hair stylist will suffice.

Good luck!
One more thing:
Stay away from any barber or hair stylist named "Delilah"! ;)

Go with what you feel is GOOD. If you like it, it doesn't matter what anyone else thinks just DO IT!
