Do you buy a unique Christmas card for each person you are sending a card to?

For close family I choose a different card for each person. For others, I send whatever I have on hand. I buy cards after Christmas every year when they are on sale. Then I have a wide selection to send out. I like to emboss my cards with rubber stamps, enclose a letter, and a holy card. It takes time but people seem to appreciate them.

I'll buy a specialty card for my parents. For everyone else, I buy a pack of Christmas cards and select certain ones for certain people. I usually specialize the generic Christmas card by writing something very specific inside (rather than just a generic Merry Christmas and my name).

Usually I simply purchase a standard box of Christmas Cards. What makes the card special is what you take the time to put inside of it.

i just buy a pack with the same cards (much cheaper that way!) and start early so i can write a nice personal note to everyone. i do that really for clients and business contacts, but for friends, i buy individual cards (when I remember!).

I buy boxes of mixed cards, and usually have carry over from prior years, so I mix and match based on the receipient (religious for Nana, generic holiday cards for those whose religion I'm uncertain about), etc.....
The only time I've bought "special" cards, and it's been awhile, is when I was engaged and first married, for my partner.

i get different ones for people close to me mom, grandma ,best friend etc. but everyone else get the same one i do the picture ones with a picture of my dog.
