The first thing to understand and I believe only one person that answered did understand, is, Christianity and Judaism are the religion. Where as people that are Jewish do not always practice Judaism.
Judaism believes there was a good man named Jesus, they believed him to be a Rabbi ( A scholar qualified to interpret Jewish law.) They did not and to this day do not believe him to be the promised Messiah. Although many Jews are turning to Christianity as fortold, but, many more will become believers.
They practice Levitical law, which is now the Melchisedecian Priesthood.
In other words Old Testament VS New Testament. Sometimes called the Messianic Law.
I once had the opportunity to wittiness to an Orthodox Jew in the hospital. Every night she had me tell her stories about Jesus. One day her Rabbi came into the room and she said Rabbi, this is the woman I've been telling you about. He looked at me with great skepticism walked towards my bed and picked up my Bible and then looked back at me and I said " You know there is very little difference in what I believe and what you believe.
He said what's that? My answer was
"Just one man" I said no more. what a great joy to have been able to put seeds of thought inside of them.
Probably this is much more answer than what you wanted

Christians know and accept that Jesus Is The Messiah, The Savior of Humanity. The Jews denied Jesus As The Messiah. I'm sorry about them and about all those who deny Jesus!
He Is The Way, The Truth and The Life, The Alpha and The Omega! The Beginning and The End!

Ironic that you ask, I'm studying the same exact thing right now.
Christians believe in the Trinity- the Father(God), the Son(Jesus), and the Holy Spirit. Jewish people believe that Jesus was not the son of God but was just a phrophet.
There are many more differences but those are some of the major ones.

There are many differences in ritual. There are only a few differences in theology (although they are big ones).
Jews believe that there is one God who created everything. The world was created "perfect" but sin/imperfection entered the world when Adam and Eve disobeyed God in the Garden of Eden.
After the "fall of man" in the Garden of Eden, humans went their own way and ignored God. God decided to make himself known again to man through the Isrealites. God made a covenant (binding agreement) with the Israelites: If the Israelites (Jews) obeyed God's laws, he would give them all they needed and bless them in all they did. Broken covenants required that death of the party who did not fulfill their end of the bargain.
Unfortunately, the Israelites were not able to keep the laws. Time and again they turned away from God and God's laws and suffered terribly. God sent Prophets to the Israelites to show them their sins and to lead them back to God. These prophets also told of a Messiah or savior who would come and set things right.
All of the above is documented in the "Old" Testament of the Bible. This is the only part of the"Christian" Bible that Jews believe in.
Christianity believes in the Old Testament. They also believe in the New Testament. The New Testament covers the life and teachings of Jesus.
A little over 2000 years ago, Jesus was born. He fulfilled all of the prophecies of the Old Testament. (Jesus' triumphant arrival in Jerusalem was predicted to the VERY DAY in the Old Testament book of Daniel....written many hundreds of years before the event!).
The Israelites of the time were looking forward to the Messiah. They thought the Messiah would save them from the worldly peril of the Roman Empire. But Jesus was not a political or military Messiah. He was a spiritual savior. He came to fulfill the covenant on behalf of the Israelites. He came to live a perfect life for the Jews...and then die to satisfy the terms of the original covenant.
Most Israelites, however, did not recognize Jesus as the long awaited Messiah.
While he was on earth, Jesus said that He was, "... the way, the truth and the life." He said that his life fulfilled the law and that the Israelites and everyone else could now be blessed through the work that He would do. That work was:
o to live in complete obedience to the law,
o to announce the new covenant, and then
o to fulfill the old covenant by dying in our place.
Jesus said that if you believed in Him, you would have eternal life. He also said that He and the Father (i.e., God) were one. That is, Jesus said that He was God.
Jews do not accept this.

eh... I'm no expert.... but in Judaism they don't believe that Christ was a divine figure, Christians believe he was the fulfillment of the old testament, Jews do not believe Jesus was the messiah--they look at him as perhaps a good teacher, maybe some might even go so far as to say a prophet. Judaism does not accept the new testament as the word of God, though it does follow the old testament. That's it so far as I know... of course holidays and the calendar--but like I said I'm no expert.

The main differences between Christianity and Judaism are:
1) Jews believe that one person cannot die for the sins of another person.
2) Jews believe that we do not need a blood sacrifice for the forgiveness of sins.
3) Jews believe that Jesus was not the messiah.
4) Jews believe that God hates human sacrifices. Who died on the cross? Was it Jesus-the-god, or was it Jesus-the-human? If it was Jesus-the-god, Jews don't believe that God can die. If it was Jesus-the-human, then all Christians have in the death of Jesus was a human death, a human sacrifice. Jews believe that God hates the very idea of human sacrifice.
5) Jews believe that one is born into the world with original purity, and not with original sin. Jews do not believe in original sin.
6) Jews believe that God is one and indivisible. Jews do not believe in a trinity.
7) Jews believe in The Satan, but not in a devil. There is a difference between The Satan and the devil.
8) Jews believe that God is God, and humans are humans. God does not become human nor do humans become God.

The Jews are the chosen. Jesus came here in the flesh as a Jew. The Old Testament points to Jesus. Zechariah12:10 is one such verse.
Yet there were many who refused the Christ, Jesus included the Gentiles into the Vine. The Jews who do believe in Christ will be even more grafted into the Vine. God Bless!
