I was just wondering whether Christians believe whether God wants us to act as Adam and Eve did... apart from the Sin of course.

Jesus is the best answer you can get.

If you read Proverbs, there are many good character depictions of how God wants us to act and how God dosn't want us to act. Confess your sins as they happen. Read your Bible daily. Do everything you do for God.

(This is some of the stuff I've learned with my Church and my education. I'm not trying to tell you how to live your life, I just think it's a good, healthy, moral way to live)

Fruit of the Spirit:
Love
Joy
Peace
Patience
Kindness
Goodness
Faithfulness
Gentlness
Self-Control

Seven Deadly Sins:
Pride
Lust
Anger
Envy
Laziness
Avarice (Money love, I think)
Greed

I believe he wants us to be like Adam and Eve were before the bite of the fruit--but I also believe it is impossible to be sin free in this world. Thank goodness he forgives us for not being perfect!

We are not to act as Adam and Eve, we are to abide by the Ten commandments and try our best to adhere to them, but even that is sometimes a challenge because we are all human and break the rules sometimes, and then asking for forgiveness if we should get off the path.

No, not really. Why do you consider them as proper models of behavior? There is no record of them as outstandingly positive.
One has the plethora of excellent behavior to imitate: Job; Moses; Abraham; Isaac; David; Paul; Peter; Ruth; Jonah; Daniel and the three Hebrew lads; Jeremiah; Rahab; ad infinitem.

No, live your life and remember his word. Life is a gift that you have to experience. The wonders and heart aches are there to develop you as a spiritual being. Life is a lesson, you will make mistakes, but acknowledge them to god and learn. He understands and is there to help you through the good times and bad. You are his child, all he wants is for you to succeed, and say thank you father for your love.

Adam and Eve's existence and relationship with God was whole, and completely different than our due to sin. It was how it was supposed to be.
We have to choose to follow God.
