A few weeks ago, I was in a bookstore with a friend of a friend and she handed me a copy of "God is Not Great" and said I'd probably like it.
Was it my sarcastic humor? My egotistical attitude?

You can spot us by our glowing red eyes, fangs and shadowy appearance. ;)
My guess is in your case your friend knew you were an athiest and at some point mentioned it to their friend who in turn gave you the book.
Byond that, there's no real way of telling unless you walk down the street with a sign saying, "I'm an atheist".

Perhaps.... or perhaps she was offering something she had previously read and enjoyed.
Can I spot an atheist.... sometimes, but it's much easier to spot Jews and Christians and Muslims because of the outward ornaments and dress codes they decorate themselves with.

No, Satan was the most beautiful agel in Heaven.
Also, satan knows that God is real and trembles. People that say they do not believe there is a God....probably down deep do not really believe that or they wouldn't keep going on about it.....................But never fear or worry all of this will be cleared up at the "Judgement"

Most likely she was probably tipped off by her friend that you're atheist. Hmmm...they've been talking about you...maybe your friend is trying to hook you up. ;-)

Had you NEVER told her that you're an atheist? People tell me I'll "love" stuff like that because all my family and friends know that I don't believe in God. They don't have to "spot" me.
