yes I get something for all of the nieces and nephews...as for the in-laws, of course, they are my husband's family...although we don't spend much on adults...just a gift that says we thought of them, like a picture frame, a set of wine glasses, a floral arrangement, something along those lines.

we get gifts for all the "kids", kids being school attending people. But once a person (even neices and nephews) starts to work full time, they join rank with the adults. The adults pick a name out of a hat, and buy one gift, for the person they picked. There is a price limit of 100.00. We all spend Christmas together, and this saves, time and money, and lugging too many gifts around! So all the kids get gifts, the only adult you buy for is the person whose name you chose.

Ya. The whole crew. But its a fairly small crew and the nieces and nephews are still kids. As they grow up and the crowd gets bigger, I may change.

i think all children should get a present until the age of 18. Then a family member should pick a name out of a hat to buy for one person.
In my family we were doing that, then a cousins wife demanded we stop and buy for everyone, she gave everyone 99 cent presents while we bought expensive stuff, it ruined x-mas and now we dont give anything to extended family
