My own religion, the Church of the Great God Hoo (adherents are known as hooligans) not only accepts alcohol, but venerates it.
Alcohol is a very important, some even say vital, part of hooligan ceremonies, and daily life.
Except for a few, like Red Feather Rye - that stuff is vile.

In Islam, it is forbidden to drink alcohol. Christianity, however, does not label it a sin...unless you drink to the point of drunkeness. Then, the excess is a sin.
Jesus performed many miracles while he was on earth. The very first one was at a wedding party. Weddings were week-long parties at that time and the host had run out of wine before the wedding was over. Jesus turned the water in some jugs into wine so the celebration would continue.
Doesn't sound like Jesus was opposed to wine does it? Some Christians will tell you that they believe drinking is a sin. They will also tell you that they believe the Bible is without error. If so, how do they explain the miracle at the wedding in Cana?
By the way. Jesus was not a drunk. There is no record that Jesus ever drank to the point of drunkeness.

In the bible it says most things in moderation are permissible - including alcohol.
"Everything is permissible for me-but not everything is beneficial."- 1 Corinthians 6:12
While God is the Creator of all things, not all things are necessarily good.
"Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your body"- 1 Corinthians 6:19-20
I think that most "religions" have people who do and don't drink. I know the catholic church says it's ok to drink and also the Jehovah's Witnesses. I am a born again non denominational christian and I (and my friends) enjoy a cold beer while we are having a BBQ. I don't see anything wrong with that. Now, if we were to become sh!t faced that would be a different story. That is not a good example of a God fearing (respecting) christian.

Within Christianity, it is usually considered to be a sin...however, scripture does not show this. There are two seperate words for wine and grape juice in scripture...and Jesus turned water in to WINE.
The Bible only speaks of drunkeness rather than drinking. Most non-denominational organizations that are not related to the current holiness or baptist movements usually allow for social drinking.

Christianity is accepting of alcohol, but not to the excess usage of it! Proverbs 20:1 speaks of how those who are led astray by it are not wise. The NT speaks of how a "LITTLE wine" is good for the infirmities of the stomach. So IF it is found to be offensive, or can tempt you into a life of drunkenness, DON'T drink it! Otherwise, use extreme prudent judgment.

So you are going to just look for a religion that approves of the choices you've already made? You want the Liberal religion then. Everything's ok, each person can have their own valid 'truth', there is no right or wrong, unless you are a conservative, in which case you must shut up about everything or you are a hater.

Well, in the Jewish religion, during the Passover seders, every adult is REQUIRED to drink 4 full glasses of wine. Plus there is wine available at most religious ceremonies including after Saturday morning services.

why do you need a religion to begin with? it is just a pointless thing to have. I mean it has good parts it creates a social group people help each other in this society and etc... but just to drink wine picking a religion is not a bright idea. You don't need a religion it is just something that people do to feel that they belong to something and to feel immortal.

I am not certain what the teachings in Islam is, but I have heard some will drink, whilst others say it is forbidden.
I can't think of any other religion forbids consumption though some protestant religions frown on it.
I don't know about the Amish

"...so which religion should I stay away from then?"
Which ones are you trying to avoid?
Those that drink or those that don't?
Personally, there is nothing wrong with the occasional drink.
The issue is when people OVERDO the drinking...just as it is an issue when they over-eat.
Moderation is a virtue.
As for "going to helll", well, it's their hell so they can burn in.
I don't believe in that place.
